ANNUAL REPORT 2023

VISIT COWRA LOGO

Officially unveiled at Cowra Tourism’s 2023 Annual General Meeting, this new logo ushers in a new ear for Cowra Tourism.

Each element woven into the logo is significant to the town;

  • The guard tower and barbed wire of course, signify the importance of Cowra's WWII history, particularly in relation to the Cowra Breakout in 1944.

  • The stone lantern and cherry blossoms in the middle signify Cowra's relationship with Japan and the journey of reconciliation, friendship, and understanding.

  • The Goanna (being the Wiradjuri totem) represents Cowra's rich Wiradjuri culture and history.

  • The wine glass represents the Cowra Wine Region.

  • The blue represents the Galari Bila (Lachlan River).
